What Good are Wings without the courage to Fly?

On Friday at our school we celebrated pink shirt day.Hi my name is keita and on pink shirt day we painted four feathers each we had four different coolers which was neon pink,dark pink,light pink,and a runny pink.

My teacher putted the feathers outside to dry after they were dried she cut them out and made

 them out of wings above the wings it said what are good are wings without the courage to fly.We have pink shirt day because it is representing to be kink and not bully other people. Pink shirt day means a lot to me because it is telling us to stand up and speak out.                                                                                                                                                           What good are wings without the courage to fly means if you got a talent don't be scared to share it with other people.

Pohutukawa art

In my class we did art with all different colour's we did a pohutukawa because we were learning about native plants. I love art because you can get creative and use all different colours.But what I found really hard was trying to make my pohutukawa  but I was scared how my pohutukawa was going to turn out.

When we started to do art I thought it was going to be really hard but it was easy we used black crayon and wight crayon we used purple dye blue dye green dye and red dye. After we did the the stem we went to our flowers the flowers were easy because we had our teacher to help up with them.

what I liked the most out of all of them was drawing the flowers because I like putting them in different shapes.

    

Letter to Mr pent

Dear Mr Pent 

I was reading your story and you were being mean to the little kid because of his head looked like a ball Mr pent some times it make children sad to be locked up. Mr Pent balls are fun but some times you cunt tack it serious Mr Pent why do you have to be mean to kids because I play with balls at my school and they are fun . They are enjoyable at my school . Balls give you exercise but it makes me sad how you are mean.that is disrespectful and it is not nice.

Mr pent it makes me sad to see you are being cruel to children but at my school every one likes playing with balls. I think that all the children like playing with balls.

What I have done this Term KS

 This term I have been doing persuasive writing and making news paper clothes and writing our own prays.

This term I have been doing posters about Earth and the sun , Venus. this term I have all so been doing persuasive writing and all so been doing thinking about stewardship. This term I have all so been writing about Humbert the hungry baby and curl  Clarissa this term I have been doing Memory of me and all so been learning maths. this term we done literacy and doing scratch. This term I have been doing counting 2 5 3 10.

This term my favourite thing was helping each other in class.

Persuasive Writing

 Dear mum,

I am really lonely so I would really like a bunny. All my siblings do not play with me so if I had a bunny I can play when it.

If I had a bunny it would keep me company and all ways comfort me every night when I am scared.

If I had a bunny I would build it a house for it so I has shelter. I will bye it food with my pocked money and give it water every day.

My cross country experience .

On Thursday morning I woke up and got into my PE gear before I knew it my mum was taking me to school. When I got to school the teacher then told us to head to the bus.  The drive was loooooooong .

When I arrived the first race to start was the year 8 then the year 7 then the year 6, then the year 4 and last was the year 3's.  It was time to race I did the big track, but I went the shortcut way, I felt so hot and my legs were so tired. It felt like a long way when I was close to the finish line. I came first out of the year 3 girls and miss  Slattery was so happy I felt happy to. After my  race I felt like a American hot dog.

When cross country was done we lined up then walked to the bus and went back to school, once we arrived at school we settled back in and got to play skipping until my mum came to collect me and my older siblings.

What Have I been Learning

In maths i have been learning to do addition and multiplication and skip counting in 510 2 and 3

MB told as what is greater then and less then greater then eta the Bigger number and less then eta

the small Number we all so do place value.

In literacy we have been doing reading and writing in literacy we all so do Writing store.

in science we have Been doing Materials and properties the materials Names are metal Wood
